Music Lessons

Due to support from the Governing Body, and working in partnership with the Local Authority, we have been able to develop our instrumental musical tuition. This is now available to pupils from Year 2 to Year 6.

As of September 2017, there are now 52 pupils taking part in learning to play a range of instruments.

 

These include:

• Cornet
• Trumpet
• Trombone
• Drums
• Guitar
• Electric guitar
• Keyboard flute & drums.

 

We are also very fortunate to have two rock bands, along with a very vibrant school choir. The skills and values that the children gain from this discipline promotes confidence in both their musical acquisition but also in their day to day school work.
